The Cape Women’s Coalition relies on donations to keep our breakfast, events and workshops available to all women free of charge,  and we need your support.

We expect more than 200 women to attend our breakfast this year, and we want to keep this event free of charge for everyone. We can’t do that without help from our community.

A donation for as little as $20 will sponsor one breakfast, $40 for two and $200 for ten.

Special Meeting for Cape Women Considering Running for Local Office

votes-for-womenDUE TO A SCHEDULING CONFLICT THIS GATHERING HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED. THE EVENT WILL NOW BE HELD:
February 25 at 8 – 10 am
at the Optimist Cafe in Yarmouth Port,
134 Rt. 6a, (just East of Willow St.)
Yarmouth Port, MA (link to map)

This gives us the opportunity to reach out to more women on the Cape. Help us spread the word! Do you know a woman who is considering running for office?

This is a special meeting for women on Cape Cod who are seriously considering campaigning for local office. This small gathering will provide a more focused discussion about what is involved in a local election. This is a great opportunity for experienced advice.  Interested women must RSVP, details below.

SPECIAL EVENT FOR CAPE COD WOMEN INTERESTED IN RUNNING FOR LOCAL OFFICE

Join a small group discussion with Sarah Peake designed to help local women who are seriously considering running for office.
We are reaching out, into our Cape Cod communities, to find women who are considering running for local office. Please help us get the word out about this special event.
  • Are you considering running for public office in your community?
  • Do you have questions or concerns?
  • Would you like to join a small group discussion with State Rep. Sarah Peake?
  • Come talk to Sarah who has run for multiple elected offices and hear her advice on how to handle a campaign.

In keeping with the mission of the Cape Women’s Coalition “to encourage and support women to enter public life and become leaders through civic engagement,” we have arranged a small-group discussion lead by Sarah Peake who has run for and served both in local and state offices. If you are considering taking this step or have decided you will run, please join us.

Deadlines for “pulling papers” to run in most Cape Cod towns are coming up and we want to help local women who are truly interested in running for office to serve their local community.

RSVP a must. Please Contact Linda at (617) 620-2157 or maccebula1@verizon.net to RSVP or with any questions.
